Temperance Brennan A Case Study
On the hit television show Bones, Temperance Brennan Is an anthropologist that works in the Jeffersonian located in Washington (which is like the Smithsonian in Washington. but the name was changed.) She has three doctorate degrees but specializes in figuring out the identity of bones that are set up by Archaeologists. Her doctorate degrees are in Anthropology, forensic anthropology, and kinesiology. She loves to work and doesn’t have an important social life until meeting her friend Angela Montenegro and FBI agent Sealy Booth. Booth went to Brennan to help with a case to identify a spoiled body, and she accepted, and they came workmates. The two have worked on numerous cases together and have erected strong cooperation and fellowship together. The Jeffersonian came available to help the FBI identify bodies that were unrecognizable.
While working with her new crew, she can open herself up and learn how to be around further people at a time. Her personality and the way she talks and or treats others start to change, and she learns how to be herself without making others feel stupid. Her father, Max, returns to her life after she finds out that her mama passed away times beforehand while they were on the run. She can make a relationship with her father and have him in her life and feel secure. After so numerous times being a non conformer, she starts to have a relationship that she knew was always there. After going through some life changes and near-death gests both for her and Booth, Bones starts to let her guard down that she put up so numerous times ago after being abandoned by her parents as a child. Bones and Booth start to have romantic passions for one another and ultimately have a son together and also marry and have a son together.

Temperance Brennan’s birth name was Joy Keenan, born to Max and Ruth Keenan. She was born October 11′ 1976, in Burtonsville, Illinois. She has one family named Russ, and he came her caregiver when her parents went on the run and came exiled when she was 15 times of age. Her name was changed from Joy Keenan to Temperance Brennan after her parents left because there were so numerous culprits looking for her parents. After Brennan’s family, Russ could no longer take care of her; she was put in foster care, where she’d attend 12 different seminaries until she turned 18.
While she was in the academy, she had trouble making musketeers because of her social awkwardness, and everyone who allowed her was weird. (Freuds proposition Id, Pride, and Superego). Her favorite subjects are Chemistry and Math, and she won the National Merit Scholar award. All-Star award while she was in the high academy. After she went to council, she went to work at the Jeffersonian in Washington, D.C., where she was a supereminent Forensic anthropologist. After meeting Booth, he started calling her Bones as a pet name for her. Bones is a Polytheist and doesn’t believe in psychology.

Bones wasn’t just an Anthropologist. She’s a well-known author that wrote crime novels. She makes a good living out of performing her job as a forensic anthropologist and writing her novels. She sometimes takes on a side job to identify mass graves when they’re set up in other countries. She no way was wedded and liked to keep it simple but had numerous mates, as she liked to call them. Bones no way really watched about courting or at least did not see it as others. This was a way of courting as if it was a wisdom problem. She has kept up a wall between her and work and dating and doesn’t feel the need for a married emotional relationship. She believes that connections are to engage in casual natural urges.
It doesn’t feel to bother her. She didn’t like to put markers on her connections with men. (Frauds Genital proposition of- balance and connections.). Bones was masked a lot, and some would say she was more prone to have Asperger’s pattern. She demanded empathy and had no sludge on how she’d speak about situations that others would have further empathy and tenderheartedness when describing them to someone, like how a loved one passed down. When Bones is working on a case, she tends to surpass an emotional detachment to the case and, at times, seems cold and distant, but latterly learns how to deal with people on the outside of the Jeffersonian.

When looking at the morning of Temperance’s nonage, she feels to have a normal everyday suburban nonage upbringing. She thrived at home and at the academy with her peers. It wasn’t until she woke up Christmas morning when she was 12 to find that her parents were gone and had left her and her family Russ at home. Temperance would spend her lunches and alone time with the janitor at the academy, and everyone started making fun of her. She also came withdrawn from people and developed signs of Asperger’s. She was ignorant of how to act around living people because of dealing with human remains all day. She didn’t show numerous feelings and came unsocial.
Analysis of Problem
Bones seems to be dealing with numerous feelings through her own personality. While she’s aloof and reticent to engage in outside fun, she loves being involved in cases and working with her fellow squints and scientists. Bones’ emotional detachment results in a lack of social chops and the way she handles herself from her former relationship. Bones displays an exceptionally strong sense of integrity and is veritably competitive in whatever she’s working on. She’s generally the smartest one in the room. Bones no way feels pressured to act or do or say anything that she doesn’t want to. And no one can make her change her mind about doing so. Due to her lack of social chops, she generally insults utmost people she comes through without realizing it.

Zastrow, 2015) numerous would describe her as having Asperger’s Pattern- Having difficulties with social communication and social commerce. Indispensable Analysis of the Problem with Bones She felt alone so numerous times and kept to herself that she didn’t know how to act around other people, as a child, through the academy, in her job, and in life.
She knows how to do her job and act around others during the time she’s at work because she has put up walls, and everyone has accepted it because she’s stylish at it, and no one would ever go up against her. Like with Horney’s proposition (people push themselves to achieve lesser and lesser effects because of introductory precariousness. This individual fears failure and feels content free to negotiate further than other people and to eclipse their own earlier successes indeed.) This is true when it comes to Bones. She suffers from Horney and Freud’s feelings to agree on many propositions like the Id, pride, superego, the importance of the unconscious, shaping of personality in nonage, and dynamics of anxiety and defense mechanisms. This explains Bones to me. Formerly Bones becomes more familiar with what she went so long without. She can come to a whole different person without letting go of the old Bones. She can now relate to others in a further accessible way without feeling awkward.
