Credibility of Evidence and Resources

NURS FPX 4030 Assessment 2 Determining the Credibility of Evidence and Resources NR

Exploring and determination to seek the quality of credible sources through the baccalaureate, making ready for the nurses are of much importance through evaluation of medication and skills related to judgment. The number of cases of disease subjected to the attention of dilemmas created through depression and anxiety in the country United States. The association of Anxiety and Depression in the land of the United States describes that dilemma of depression and anxiety have harmful effects on adults up to 40 million people of adults. Selection of most effective practices of evidence-based remedial techniques and diagnosis for the adults serves as the medium of a challenge for the baccalaureate nurses in health care settings. Some aspects are used effectively to determine the criteria of credibility of research based on pieces of evidence. Incidentally, each available online resource of proof is not providing credible and reliable information. This report aims to make the researchers able, and nurses get well-equipped with acknowledgment and assessment skills related to evidence-based research to improve the quality of life of patients and their safety.

Establishing the Criteria for Determining Credibility

Nursing faculty receive guidelines to improve patients’ quality of life to get familiar with the rules of practices based on evidence for the treatment of depression and anxiety by proper selection of EBP. There exist a wide range of factors available online for the judgment of EBP for the recovery of the health by eliminating the depression in the patients. These sources are assessed and judged correctly to boost the restrictions against the symptoms of depression and anxiety (Shayan et al., 2019). For instance, the effective treatments comprise psychotherapies, antidepressant medication, and collaborative and integrated clinical healthcare structure in health care settings.

A fresh nurse needs to learn inculcation of the most effective treatment to decrease depression and anxiety in patients. The availability of credible sources and research-based practices can reduce the severe symptoms of depression and anxiety in adult patients up to 80% by receiving reasonable and reliable data access; it is compulsory to visit government websites to study the credible sites to reduce the symptoms of depression and anxiety in the patients. It is a clear-cut approach that the data available on articles and blog posts is not accurate and reliable to readout. And the sources from Wikipedia and Encyclopedia are also not trustworthy to read and apply their available methodologies to the patients. Furthermore, new nurses must not read articles available from .com websites or any other website that is only based on advertisements and only for money-making. It is suggested that nurses must read the knowledge-oriented websites to diagnose the symptoms of depression and anxiety and eliminate the ratio of depression for the decrement of the disease (Skela-Savič et al., 2017).

A lot of evidence-based research and credible data is available online through various websites, articles, government and institution-based credible data to search the credible information available for the nurses to cure and fight the symptoms of depression and anxiety. The content of public resources through government websites was published after the checking by scholars and professors. It is recommended for new nurses to seek credible online data through government websites that are not older than five years.

Determination of credible and reliable sources of information through online search is easy through testing by CRAAP. For example, assessment through CRAAP seeks to search the availability of that valuable piece of information that is not more than five years old by having access to relevant and reliable data according to the requirement of the topic (Patterson et al., n.d.). The available content through government websites assures to meet the criteria of meaningful and valuable data related to the achievement of positive disciplines according to the requirement of nursing through the test of CRAAP. Moreover, assessing the diagnosis criteria for the symptoms of depression and anxiety mentioned in the article is considered more meaningful and reliable if it is researched and published by the professor instead of a fresh medical student with zero experience.

 Applying the Evidence-Based Practice Model

Evidence-based practices ensure to work after collecting data consisting of well-evident facts. The work from those experts is also good to gain information on the issues of depression and anxiety. Still, it never works as the most substantial source of acknowledgment for reducing and eliminating the symptoms of depression and anxiety. By utilizing the authentic sources of information by the practices of evidence-based research, it is recommended that the whole system of nursing nurture the improved quality of life of patients accompanying the reduction in the symptoms of anxiety and depression in adults (Mudderman et al., 2020). For instance, practitioners prefer to utilize evidence-based research practices for adult patients to minimize the level of stress in them. It is experienced that the implementation of psychotherapy to remedy depression and anxiety in patients is more fruitful. It assures the patients to speak up about their disease to sort out content for the remedial solution. In 1974 Iowa model came forward to deal with the symptoms of depression and anxiety and proceed in seven steps (Parker et al., 2018). The first one deals with the selection of practices of evidence-based. The second is to assess and evaluate the phases of the disease (Parker et al., 2018). The third one is to grasp the brainstorming strategy to seek evidence. For example, to proceed with the third step, researchers like to work with the registered journals to improve the quality of life of patients (Parker et al., 2018).

The fourth step by Iowa mode deals with marking the ranks to estimate the strength of research by researchers to work under the Qualitative data by searching for Inductive Reasoning. The fifth step is about evidence-based practices after assessing critiques with the publication of their literature review (Parker et al., 2018). The sixth step of the Iowa model represents the implementation of strategies. The seventh step includes evaluating the practices to estimate their value and credibility. The Iowa model can implement procedures to reduce the symptoms of depression and anxiety in the patients and bring improvement in their lives. It offers the most suitable medications adopted by nurses towards patients of depression in health care settings (Parker et al., 2018).

The Five Credible Resources for Effective Diagnosis

The nurses and practitioners admit the significance of the CRAAP test to evaluate patients’ conditions regarding depression and anxiety and to find out the process of the solution according to deal with critical situations of the symptoms of depression and anxiety. The CRAAP test ensures the remedial measures for the patients in five steps like Journals of Depression and Anxiety, The American Journals of Psychiatry, ClinMed International Library, Open Journals of Depression and Anxiety, and Wiley Online Library. These provide credible information to the nurses to sort out the issue of depression and anxiety (Cheng et al., 2020).

Analysis of Credibility and the Significance of Credible Evidences

The efforts of authentic researchers make it possible to publish the difference in the medication process for the customers who finds access to credible data and vice versa. Evidence-based practices make it sure to use the facilities of who is reasonable by the availability of evidence-based research. Two influential theories, like Cognitive Theory and theory of Behavioral Activation, are acknowledged as the most compelling theories to deal with the symptoms of depression and anxiety. It opens the way for nurses to apply those medication procedures backed by evidence. The students who use their skills to make decisions are more likely to feel satisfied. The psychotherapy remedy is most applicable in 80% of cases to achieve the best possible outcomes related to health in hospitals (Parker et al., 2018).

The implementation of EstraBooks serves as a gold standard to proceed with psychotherapy to fight against the symptoms of depression and anxiety. It enables people to use randomized trials based on evidence. Another distinctive approach of Quasi-experiments plays a vital role to deal with symptoms of depression and anxiety based on proper techniques of EBP. It also serves the professionals to increase their knowledge level based on evidence.

Conclusion

The objective of attaining the best outcomes related to the symptoms of depression and anxiety is to work with the EBP, which is the authentic way to implement credible data by the usage of reliable resources. The combination of psychotherapy and medication improves patients’ quality of life in health care settings. The Iowa model enables the nurses to find out the most credible source of information to bring betterment to people’s lives.
