Scientific Paradigms of Nursing Science
The Positivism Paradigm and the Constructivist Paradigm are the two paradigms that Polit and Beck (2019) discuss in nursing and research. The Positivism Paradigm is the first paradigm. According to Polit and Beck (2019), positivism values objectivity and presupposes order and a single reality.
